Master the medieval art of archery with our fab Farncombe Adventures team

Don’t miss the mark! Dating back 10,000 years, archery is one of the oldest activities and yet still popular to this day. In this hour session you’ll be taught how to assume the proper archery stance, nock the arrow, hold it light on the string with three fingers, raise the bow, draw, aim, release… bullseye!

Get outdoors and take in the breath-taking Cotswold countryside as you get to grips with a bow and arrow, Game of Thrones style!

Archery is available to all guests in our Hillside Hangout properties, The Fish Hotel, Dormy House and Foxhill Manor. Pre-booking is required.

Archery takes place on our activity field on an outdoor range, so we recommend coming prepared for the British weather (aka lots of layers). As you will be handling sharp objects, closed-toe footwear must be worn in order to take part.
