Family Fundays
Keeping the kids entertained is no mean feat.
But what can we say…we like a challenge. So here are our top destinations in the Cotswolds for guaranteed family fun days (you can thank us later)…

Birdland and Jurassic Journey
Have a hoot as you meet over 500 birds from majestic owls to fantastic flamingos.
Venture into the woodland and meet life-sized dinosaurs lurking between the trees in their Jurassic Journey area before heading to Pandemonium of Parrots to get up close and personal with…you guessed it…vibrant and colourful parrots.

Horse Riding
From private sessions to pony parties, saddle up and explore the Cotswolds by horseback at Cotswold Riding with Jill Carenza.
Set in the stunning village of Stanton a stones throw away from the Estate, Jill has over 50 horses and ponies suitable for all abilities.

Cotswold Farm Park
Get the little ones clued up on conservation and learn more about British farming whilst having bundles of fun at the Cotswold Farm Park.
As well as getting up close and personal with rare breeds of animals and taking in the wonders of wildlife on their 2-mile nature walk, there are also lots of things to keep the kids entertained from getting down and dirty in their magnificent muddy kitchen to practicing their acrobatics on their bouncy pillows.
Don’t worry big kids, there is also a coffee and cake crammed cafe and a gift shop to explore.

Cotswold Water Park & Beach
Splash out with a visit to the Cotswold Water Park & Beach, a little further away from our Hangouts, it’s just over an hours drive but so worth it with 180 lakes and 40 square miles of stunning countryside to explore.
And as well as stunning nature trails and picturesque pathways to pound, dotted around the lakes are places to birdwatch, fish, cycle and stop for those all-important family picnics. Fancy a dip? As well as basking on the beach (yes, in the Cotswolds) there are plenty of watersports for you to try including paddleboarding, canoeing and inflatables.
