Step-by-Step Guide

Mussels

  • Firstly, slice your shallots and finely chop your garlic.
  • Then in a large pan sweat your shallots and garlic on a low heat with the oil until they become translucent.
  •  Next add your white wine and reduce by half.
  • Make sure your mussels are clean, then add them to your sauce and cover with a lid.
  • Allow to steam for around 3-4 minutes or until all the mussels are opened.
  • Add your cream then place lid back on and continue to simmer for 1 minute.
  • Finally season with salt and lemon juice and garnish with your chopped parsley.

Oven Chips

  • Firstly, pre-heat your oven to 210 degrees.
  • Then spread your chips evenly onto a tray.
  •  Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Then serve alongside your perfectly steamed mussels. Enjoy!
